Translation rates

The costs of a translation depend on a number of factors, such as how quickly the translation must be completed, the length of the document, the language to and from which the document is to be translated and whether specialist knowledge is required to translate the document. All these things affect the rate per word and the final amount for the full translation.

Often, a translation agency works with ‘from’ rates for certain translations, where one rate is higher than another rate. For translations that require a lot of specialist knowledge or for sworn translations, higher costs are often paid per word.

Translations to and from the world's most widely spoken languages are often cheaper than translations to and from languages that are spoken less frequently. This is because more translators are available for the most common languages. The most common languages are English, French, German and Spanish.

For translations of texts for certain industries or disciplines that require specialist knowledge from the translator, you pay a higher rate per word than if this knowledge is not necessary. If not every translator can translate your text, this can increase the cost of the translation.

We apply a rate of €0.15 cents per word excluding VAT for sworn translations. The final rate depends, among other things, on the number of words and the language to which and from which translations are to be done. Please note that in addition to the translation costs, shipping costs will also be charged for sending the translated documents. Sworn translations must be stamped and signed by the sworn translator.

Often, your translation can be delivered within 24 hours. This generally applies to translations of up to 1,000 words. Is your translation longer than 1,000 words but you would still like to receive it within 24 hours? Then a good translation agency will have several translators working on your documents. As a result, an urgent translation can be more expensive than a translation for which more time is available.

With us, you pay a rate of €0.06 cents per word excluding VAT for urgent translations of up to 1,000 words. We can often deliver these urgent translations within 24 hours. The rate depends on the length of the document and the language from which and to which it is to be translated.

A flawless and good translation is worth its weight in gold. It is therefore important that a good translation agency works with professional native translators and sworn translators. These translators have been trained as translators. We pay these professionals an appropriate fee for their knowledge and skills.

After approval of the translation, you will receive the invoice by e-mail. We apply a payment term of 14 days after delivery.
